Meaning & Value
Aleksandra Prints started on the initiative of the Kesler sisters. Lauren, a writer who lives in London was traveling in Italy in 2025 where she came across my collages at the Phest art festival in Monopoli. Lauren took a few snapshots and sent them to Erin, a neo-natal nurse in Philadelphia who works on the threshold between life and death with vested interests in both science and spirituality.
‘… no artwork has ever captured how I feel about that juxtapositon between humanity and technology. Do you have this art available as prints to buy or any way for individuals to purchase it for display in their personal home? I can’t imagine not having it in my home! Thank you for your time and thank you for your art’.
As an internationally exhibiting artist, I had rarely considered my audience before. An exhibition ‘opening’ would typically mark the closure of a long and personal artistic process and the handover of the work and its meaning to the galleries, curators, press and the public, while I could silently walk away, content that my job was done.
But then this happened: A woman called Erin reached out to me on Instagram. A neonatal nurse with vested interests in science and spirituality, she asked if I had prints for sale. We started a conversation, about meaning and value, that completely expanded my understanding of who is actually looking at my art, what it is for, and how I can meet them halfway in the present.
Aleksandra Prints launched to the public on the 1st of December 2025. And it is with great pleasure that I invite you to browse around. Join the Print Club and Subscribe to my newsletter where I share reflections on art and announce new monthly drops. Collect the Limited Edition Prints for your own walls, or gift to someone un-expecting.
Thank you for being here and I wish you a warm holiday season!
